A contemporary perspective on the correspondence between Rainer Maria Rilke and Franz Xaver Kappus (1903–1908). A book about communication across time and distance, solitude, and self-discovery.

The book brings together two voices: the classical one, with the original letters, and the contemporary one, with fragments of essays and other texts that interrupt the reading. This creates two parallel narratives that intersect throughout the book, creating tension, dialogue, and questioning the ideas explored by the authors.
